The work dedicated to Luciano Fabro shows Paolini while he looks at the fold-out catalogue of Fabro's solo show at the Galleria Notizie in Turin in January 1967, where the artist is portrayed in various positions inside his work entitled In cubo.
Instead of looking at one of his own works, as he does in
D867 (GPO-0141), here Paolini looks at the image of another artist, Fabro, as he relates to his work.
During the same year, the photograph led to two versions on paper, both of them smaller in size (GPC-0111, GPC-0112).
