Two square canvases placed close together feature large squared lettering, outlined with coloured pencils, of the data that authenticates the work itself: “Giulio Paolini" (green), "Due quadrati" (gold), "1977" (blue).
The work is part of a group of works made between 1976 and 1977, many of which on paper, characterized by the systematic transcription of the anagraphic data of the work itself so as to generate a cryptographic modular design (GPO-0343, GPO-0347, GPO-0370, GPC-0445, GPC-0416, GPC-0418, GPC-0420, GPC-0423, GPC-0448).
