Photographic negatives affixed to white paper with drawing pins, stretcher

100 x 140 cm

Carlo Tivioli Collection, Milan

Nineteen almost illegible photographic negatives – travel images – are pinned along the four sides of a sheet of drawing paper, held down on a stretcher as though they were postcards or some other form of souvenir, stuck into a mirror frame.
The same theme was also formulated in three other versions in the same year (GPO-0219, GPO-0220, GPO-0221) and in two subsequent versions (GPO-0251, GPO-0264).
